Neo-Modus Direct Connect is a simple protocol for a client/server-oriented messaging and file sharing system. The NMDC Project aims to provide documentation for the NMDC community and its developers.

NMDC is the first and original generation of Direct Connect protocol.

NMDC was never officially document but was reverse engineered to the state it is in today.
